About the Scholarship

INCREV® offers a scholarship of 5,000 SEK to the student who has written the best C- or D-thesis in search engine optimization (SEO) or a related field, such as digital marketing, AI, or data analysis related to search engines. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and reward academic research that deepens the understanding of SEO and its role in the digital economy.

Who Can Apply?

The scholarship is open to students at all Swedish universities and colleges who have completed a C- or D-thesis during the past academic year. The thesis must be written in Swedish or English and have a clear connection to search engine optimization.

Application Process

Applications are submitted via INCREV®’s website and must include:

• A copy of the thesis (PDF format)
• A short summary of the thesis (max 500 words)
• A personal letter explaining why your research is relevant to the SEO industry (max 300 words)
• Contact details and information about your university and study program

Application Deadline

Applications must be submitted no later than September 30 each year.

Selection and Award

A jury consisting of SEO and digital marketing experts from INCREV® will evaluate applications based on:

• Relevance to the SEO industry
• Innovative perspective and originality
• Academic quality and methodology
• Practical applicability in digital marketing and search engine optimization

The winner is selected in December each year and will be announced on INCREV®’s website and social media. The prize of 5,000 SEK will be awarded to the winner, along with a digital certificate of recognition.
